MANHATTANHENGE 2023

July 13,2023 | By Sovereign Associates |

If you missed yesterday's Manhattanhenge when the Full Ball of the Sun sets in perfect alignment with the Manhattan Street grid. You will be able to experience the Half Sun today for the last time this year. When you stand in the spots suggested in the links, you will see the Sun creating a radiant glow of light across the brick and steel canyons, simultaneously illuminating the north and south sides of every cross street of the borough's grid.

The term "Manhattanhenge" was coined by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and is an exciting rare, and beautiful New York sight.
